The 1st Muni Pop-Up Shop + Sharing Ideas on Mindful Living

Muni on this:

What if a small group of people can say big things together?

This was the intent of the cultural creatives that got together for Muni’s first event, the Muni Pop-Up Shop – an event created to build a growing community of creative individuals wanting to make a huge impact on communities with the least impact on the planet, and raise awareness on one of the things that we as consumers can do to effect change – conscious consumption.

Check out some of the pre-loved / locally-made / eco-friendly items at our pop-up shop!

We’re just getting started with this whole mindfulness movement, but more than just an avenue to raise awareness of conscious consumption, the Muni Pop-Up Shop was also about meeting and talking to other cultural creatives sharing similar ideals.

SHARING IDEAS ON MINDFUL LIVING

We managed to capture on video some ideas on how we can live better by being more conscious about what we choose to do and support, and how we choose to live and be. This unplanned, impromptu shoot resulted in answers that ranged from the simple to the challenging, the tangible to the abstract. But no matter how they answered, for our community of cultural creatives, there is no act too little ignore nor any ideal too big to forget. : )

There was lots of good vibes going around, and really, this is just the beginning! We look forward to more Muni events both in and out of the metro! Which was your favorite idea? : )
